Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Tripysi app and website (together, “Tripysi”). By creating an account or using Tripysi, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Tripysi.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use Tripysi.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account. Accounts are personal and can’t be sold or transferred. Don’t impersonate anyone with your name, username or photo.
Missions and verification
Missions are completed by checking in at a location, submitting a photo, scanning a QR code, tapping an NFC tag, or showing a receipt, booking or ticket. Some submissions are reviewed before rewards are granted.
- Submit only your own, genuine evidence. Spoofing your location, reusing others’ photos or receipts, or tampering with tags or codes is not allowed.
- We may reject submissions, reverse rewards or suspend accounts where we reasonably believe a mission wasn’t genuinely completed.
Stay safe and respectful. Obey local laws and site rules, don’t enter private or restricted property, and never put yourself or others at risk to complete a mission.
XP, Tripysi Coins and achievements
- XP, levels, Tripysi Coins and achievements are in-game rewards. They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money and can’t be transferred between accounts.
- Coins can be used as payment in the Tripysi travel store where the app shows a coin price. They may expire as described in the app.
- We may adjust balances to correct errors or reverse rewards obtained against these Terms.
Stamps and the physical passport
- You earn a city’s stamp by completing that city’s missions.
- The physical Tripysi Passport unlocks only when your digital passport is 100% complete. XP, coins, level and league rank do not count toward it.
- One physical passport can be claimed per account. You’re responsible for providing an accurate delivery address; delivery timing and supported regions are shown in the app when you claim.
Annual Travel League
The league runs in seasons. Standings are based on XP earned during the season, under the rules shown in the app. League results don’t affect your passport. We may remove players from the league for cheating or abuse, and may change league rules between seasons.
Posts and community
Your profile and posts are visible to other Tripysi users. Be the kind of traveller people are glad to meet.
- You own your content. You keep ownership of the photos, videos, captions and comments you post. You give Tripysi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within Tripysi to operate the service: for example, showing your posts in feeds, on place pages and on your world map.
- Post only what’s yours to share. Don’t post content you don’t have the rights to, or photos of other people that they wouldn’t want shared.
- No harm. Harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, scams, and content that’s illegal or encourages dangerous behaviour are not allowed.
- We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. You can delete your posts and comments at any time.
Travel store and orders
- Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees, discounts and the final total are confirmed at checkout before you pay.
- You can pay by UPI, credit or debit card, or with Tripysi Coins where a coin price is shown. Card and UPI payments are processed by our payment providers under their terms.
- Coupons are subject to the conditions shown with them and can’t be exchanged for cash.
- Orders are subject to availability. If we can’t fulfil an order, we’ll refund what you paid, whether money or coins, to the original payment method.
- Cancellation and return options, and their time limits, are shown in the app for each order. Refunds for returned items go back to the original payment method.
- Experiences sold in the store are provided by partners, on the date and terms shown when you buy.
Trips and connected services
City guides and trip plans are suggestions to help you plan. Opening hours, prices and access can change, so check before you go. If you connect a travel app or add bookings to your travel wallet, you’re responsible for the accuracy of what you add, and your bookings remain subject to that provider’s terms.
Partners and third parties
Some missions, experiences and store products are provided by partners. Partners are responsible for their own venues, products and services. Links to third-party sites or services are provided for convenience; we’re not responsible for them.
Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings › Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. When an account is closed, unused coins and rewards are forfeited. Orders already placed will be fulfilled or refunded.
Disclaimers and liability
Tripysi is provided “as is”. Travel involves risk; you’re responsible for your own safety, travel arrangements and decisions. To the extent the law allows, Tripysi isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your travel, from partner venues or from events outside our control. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
Changes
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we’ll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Tripysi after that means you accept the updated Terms.
